Seamless Ticketing and Access Control Integration at CITÉ IMMERSIVE VIKINGS

The CITÉ IMMERSIVE VIKINGS is a new cultural venue dedicated to the history of the Vikings in Normandy. Located on the banks of the Seine in Rouen, La Cité Immersive Viking offers a spectacular, immersive, sensory, and educational experience, taking visitors on a memorable journey back in time.

Thanks to cutting-edge technology, monumental historical settings, 360° video projections, and 3D spatialized sound immersions, visitors are taken back in time to relive the fascinating story of the Vikings, who were the driving force behind the creation of Normandy.

Project Challenge:

The client needed to manage the entrance and exit of visitors (including PRMs) using their tickets. The ticket management system, provided by the French startup Diptick, had to work in conjunction with the entrance and exit access control system provided by us.

Solution Provided:

• Entry: Managed by 2 lanes with three-arm turnstiles (mTripod) and 1 mSwing lateral gate for PRMs access.
• Exit: Managed by 1 lane with three-arm turnstiles (mTripod) and 1 mSwing lateral gate for PRMs access.

Entry and exit turnstiles are managed by KEYDOM, FAAC’s intuitive, easy-to-deploy access control system, ready for a multitude of applications.
