The wait is over... Pimpama Sports Hub is NOW OPEN!

Pimpama Sports Hub is a spectacular integrated sporting precinct on the northern Gold Coast, in Australia. It is a fully self-sufficient Sporting Hub built on a 14-hectare site in Pimpama. The Sporting complex represents a great asset to the community with an estimated 750,000 annual users; it is the city’s largest-ever civic infrastructure project.

The Hub includes many different facilities such as: an aquatic centre with five pools, a community centre with meeting and function rooms, a health and fitness centre, 12 netball courts and clubhouse, tennis courts, parkland & outdoor event space.

The main issue to be solved was the accurate access control entry due to the high number of estimated daily users. For insurance purposes, before visitors enter the aquatic center they are asked to sign a waiver and only those who have signed are allowed to enter. Additionally, only paid up members can gain access to the gym facility. The mSwing swing door and mWing wing gate by Magnetic seemed to be the right choice for the monitored access of visitors; they are ideal wherever passage is authorised by staff at a gate or reception desk.

Thanks to the close cooperation between MAGNETIC Australia staff and MAGNETIC HQ technical team we have been able to win the project at this high profile government site.

After the local installer finished the product installation on site the customer commented that the products look so much better than the stainless steel barriers they had on other sites, they also liked all the LED lighting effect and the mDure material.
