Viper
Shallow mount roadblocker

- PAS68 and ASTM tested security
- Halt a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 80 kph
- Can be supplied with an EFO
(Emergency Fast Operation) - Available in a range of widths
Viper offers PAS68 and ASTM tested security in an imposing shallow mount solution. Not only will it halt a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at a speed of 80 kph and continue to function afterwards, it also requires an excavation depth of just 400 mm.
Available in a range of widths, the Viper stands 1050 mm tall when fully raised. It is controlled by a simple push button interface, and is also compatible with Heald’s Hydra control and monitoring system which allows far more complex user interaction with the Viper.
It can be supplied with an EFO (Emergency Fast Operation) system where required. Unlike many other products on the market, the Viper uses clever linkage to open and close; not only does this provide much smoother, quieter operation than chain driven blockers, it also protects the potentially vulnerable hydraulic ram during impact.
The Viper has been tested by MIRA to both PAS68 and ASTM standards. Its PAS68 rating is PAS 68:2010 V/7500[N3]/80/90:0.0.0/24.6 and its ASTM rating is ASTM 2656-07 M50:P1.
Raised and lowered remotely by a push button interface the Viper is also available with Heald’s Hydra control and monitoring system, which allows far more detailed interaction with the unit than any other system currently on the market. It can also be supplied with an EFO (Emergency Fast Operation) system where required.
